How do the blog Awards work?

The blog awards has 3 phases;

The submission phase, where the public submits blogs for consideration in the awards

The judging phase; judges select the top 5 blogs in each category as the nominees for the awards

The voting phase; the list if nominees as selected by the judges is released to the public for voting

Do I have to have a blog to submit it for the Awards?

No. Anyone can submit a blog into the Kenyan Blog Awards. This could be the owner or a just a fan of a specific blog.

Do I have to be a member of BAKE to take part?

No. The awards are open to any and all blogs of Kenyan origin regardless of whether or not they belong to a member of BAKE

Every year the Bloggers Association of Kenya holds the annual BAKE Kenyan Blog Awards. questions have come up based on the awards. Here a few answers to the questions asked most so far.

How do I know if my blog makes it to the nominee list?

Once the judging phase is over, a list of nominees will be released. A post will be put up on the BAKE blog announcing this and giving details of the top 5 blogs in each category selected by the judges.

How many times can I vote?

Voting is restricted to one vote per person in each category.

Which blogs aren’t allowed in the competition?

Blogs run by the awards organizing team, judges and sponsors will not be allowed in the competition.
