Most bloggers share their posts once or twice and forget all about them. They are more concerned with new stuff forgetting the old post could be more enticing to the audience. If shared correctly, you can go up to a week without sharing new content. Question is, how does one go about sharing their old posts?

The best thing would be to schedule your posts to send out all your old posts. Use a few catchy lines in the posts to make people interested in clicking the link on your blog. There are different services you can use to do this. Buffer and Hootsuite top the list in the apps you can use to schedule your posts.

If you focus on promoting others stuff on social media sites by notifying them, you will definitely get good results as most bloggers tend to follow win/win approach. Others will also promote your stuff once you start promoting them, so don’t be selfish to promote only your blog posts.

Email list promotion

Believe it or not, it is quite possible to promote your content via email. This is usually done through a newsletter. Get a subscription list for people who want to keep up to date with what’s on your blog. Having an email list also helps you promote your old blog posts without looking like a spammer. Commenting on other blogs will draw attention to your blog as other blogger know about you and they can i turn draw their own readers to your site. Jot down a few positive comments and leave a link to your site as well. The blogger is bound to be curious about you. They might end up visiting you archives and see a few things they like that are worth sharing.
