Have you ever wanted a guide to understand certain terms on twitter? Nendo, has published the A-to-Z of Kenyans on Twitter to help you out. This happens to be Africa’s first publication celebrating the culture, quirks and characters in African cyberspace, starting with Kenyans on Twitter (#KOT).
Nendo, which is a Nairobi-based boutique consultancy focused on Strategy and Storytelling for Digital Africa was founded and is led by Mark Kaigwa(who was selected among Forbes 30 under 30 Best Young Entrepreneurs in Africa, 2013). They are experts at social & media, practice design thinking and study the connected African consumer.
Nendo is well known for their report which builds on the learnings from the KOT community and the social media landscape to present predictions for 2014-2015. The report was built on 15 trends and predictions were drawn on lessons learnt through the March 2013 General Elections, The Westgate Mall Attack and Kenya at 50 discussions.
Nendo’s latest project, the A-to-Z of Kenyan twitter, presents 26 of Kenyan Twitter’s best trends, insights and terms. From A for #Aromat to Z for #ZeroChills. The A-to-Z format highlights moments of context and insight amidst the torrential stream of news, updates and content generated by the connected African continent. Future publications for Nigeria, Egypt and South Africa are set for 2015.
