In our efforts to impart as much knowledge about blogging to as many people as possible, we have, and are continuing to set up training sessions in different parts of the country. We have kicked off 2015 with a bang and on 30th January, we were at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology to conduct some training, as well as to open a chapter there.
This time round, we’ll be in Bungoma on 28th February 2015 to train potential bloggers from that area. The training will be at the Bungoma Sports Club, which is located at Corner Mbaya, 3 kilometers off Bungoma-Mumias road, branching off at Mteremko junction. The training runs from 9.00am to 4.00pm and participants will be picked from the Mteremko junction at 8.30am.
Our agenda for Bungoma is to train on the following topics:
- Basics of blogging and social media
- Writing skills and readership
- Personal online branding
- Understanding copyright
All are welcome. The training will be free of charge and free WiFi will be provided. Bring a laptop with you if you can.
More programs are coming up in other parts of the country and we shall keep you posted.
