Airtel Kenya is on an agenda to transform the future of medicine. That is the reason why they have partnered with Medanta Africare, a leading global medical provider, to provide medical care access through the mobile phone, a service termed as mhealth.
Airtel is coming together with Medanta Africare to educate the public about the Airtel mhealth services which include Dial-a-Doc, Home Healthcare and Telemedicine.
This Thursday 25th June, 2015 at 5.00 pm, we will be hosting Airtel and Medanta Africare as they discuss more about the partnership, and the role that innovation and Telcos are playing in not just transforming, but also improving Medical care in Kenya as well as Africa at large.
The future of medicine and medical care will be among the topics of focus. The panel will also educate the audience on what mhealth means and how it will affect the role of medical practitioners.
Though malpractice and misdiagnosis are touchy subjects that dog medical practitioners, it still is a subject that needs to be addressed and the panel will dwell on it as well.
The panelists for this discussion will be Charles Mativo of Airtel, Deepak Sharma of Medanta and a medical practitioner from Medanta.
