Do you consider yourself a creative? Are you an artist? A script writer? Filmmaker? Designer? Musician? Journalist or photographer? PAWA 254 is undertaking an initiative that might just be of interest to you.
PAWA 254 has always provided through membership, a workspace for industry professionals, startups, SMEs, individuals and organizations interested in joining its creative community. It encourages artists in all creative fields to explore their talents using this space which they refer to as an ‘Arts and Artivism Hub’.
Founded by photojournalist Boniface Mwangi, it is the home of some of Nairobi’s most creative minds. It has trained many artists by organizing workshops and trainings while offering a platform for artists to innovate and explore their creative passion, with the aim of creating a social impact.
Through application, PAWA 254 will from July to October sponsor four individuals in this third edition of open membership. The four will be granted free access to the workspace for a period of three months where they will be accorded use of the internet, knowledge resources, available office space and equipment, mentorship and other amenities.
