Love matters Africa is an online platform that creates and generates information about sex and sexuality. Through their platform, they seek to educate the youth on sexuality while promoting sexual health. Love Matters Africa takes prides in being the only comprehensive sexual health website in the region.
In its quest to provide young people with honest and positive information on issues surrounding their sexuality, and to encourage them to make better life decisions, Love Matters is currently seeking qualified individuals to fill these two vacant positions in their organization:
1. Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist
This is a full time position. You are encouraged to apply if you have:
• A passion for human rights,
• A minimum of two years SEO experience
• At least one year experience managing PPC Campaigns,
• Are based in Kenya and speak good English (if you are a non-native English speaker).
Knowledge of Swahili language, Photoshop or picture editing skills, and possession of Google AdWords certification will be added advantages.

2. Editor
This is a part time position. Consider applying if you possess:
• Excellent English-writing and Copy-editing skills,
• The technical skills to work efficiently on CMS like Drupal or the ability to learn quickly on the job
• A thorough understanding of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) issues in the African context
• A progressive attitude towards sex
• An affinity to knowledge of the young audience (aged between 18yrs – 30yrs)
• The ability to give and receive constructive feedback
Aside from being a good team player, you should also be able to meet strict and sometimes tight deadlines, and be up-to-date with East Africa news, culture and trends. You should be willing to learn and take up basic SEO tasks, be flexible with working hours and conditions, and work well independently.
