The fact that many people are interested in learning about blogging has never been more apparent than it is now. As blogging grows in popularity, many are the questions that come up from people who would like to understand what exactly it entails and how to go about setting up a blog.
With the increase in the number of blogs cropping up every day online, there is a need to offer training and guidance to new entrants who are trying to curve a niche in this growing industry. We continue to feed this need by taking our Blogging and Social Media Training to various counties around the country. The next county therefore, to benefit from the blogging and social media training is Machakos.
We will hold a Blogging and Social Media Training at Garden Hotel, in Machakos on Saturday, 23rd of July 2016. The training will run from 9am to 3pm.
Among the topics to be covered include:
•Basics of blogging and social media
•Writing skills and readership
•Blogging and Social media ethics
•Copyright and fair use
This will be a beginners course that will cover the basics of blogging by seeking to answer questions such as: why people blog, how to start a blog, which platforms to use and why, how to become a better blogger, how to generate traffic to your blog among other topics.
The training will also touch on Social Media to focus on the ethics to apply while engaging others on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and other social media platforms. There will also be lessons on how to improve writing skills, the importance of understanding you audience among others.
Participants are encouraged to carry their laptops for the ultimate hands on training experience. Wifi will be provided.
