The future of Kenya and that of Africa’s youth lies on great entrepreneurial and innovation mindset through the generation. For this reason, the 2nd African Summit on Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ASENTI), a platform for global entrepreneurship and innovators, will be taking place in November 4th-5th at USIU-Africa, Kenya. ASENTI is a platform created to provide innovators and entrepreneurs from Africa, a chance to take stock of the achievements made in the ‘year of Entrepreneurship’.
The summit purposes to bring together over 600 delegates and over 40 speakers from across Africa as business mentors. It will focus on different pillars; Youth Empowerment, Social Innovation, film, Green energy, Agribusiness, Finance, Media, Science and Mobile Technology, Intellectual Property(IP) and many other areas.
This year ASENTI will also be running the Startup Campus Accelerator program before the summit. The program which will go on for three days, will have the 30 selected startups taken through strategic planning, digital marketing and branding, pitching among others. Ten startups shall be selected to pitch in presence of potential investors at the summit.
Having partnered with ASENTI this year, we will be conducting a Digital skills training during the conference that will bring together various entrepreneurs and innovators with an aim of imparting various digital skills. The training is set for the 4th of November from 2.30pm to 5.30pm. Among the topics to be covered include:

•Blogging and Social media ethics
•Copyright and fair use
