The Africa Law Tech Festival team has announced the Africa Law Tech Awards 2020 recognizing tech, tech policy and access to justice initiatives within the continent. The nominations commenced on 15th of February 2020 and close on the 25th of February 2020.
The Africa Law Tech Festival 2020 is the first and only event of its kind the continent and the awards seek to recognize individuals and organizations enabling and creating ethical technology and policy solutions for building inclusive societies and improving access to justice.
The Africa Law Tech Festival entails the Law Tech Academy, Global Legal Hackathon and the Main conference focused on Tech Policy Convened by the Lawyers Hub with the support of Omidyar Network. The Award Ceremony will take place between the 6-10 of March 2020 at the Africa Law Tech Festival in Nairobi, Kenya.

About Africa Law Tech Festival
Projected to bring together various leaders from across Africa in Law and Technology sectors, the Festival seeks to create a space where conversations around policy issues in technology, the role of tech in promoting access to justice and law reform can be furthered.
Focused on encouraging innovations, the festival will also allow participants to collaborate on creating, developing and sharing ideas centred around law and technology innovations, policy and regulation.
The festival also hopes to create a more enlightened law space in Africa regarding legal tech and areas that involve innovations in technology that touches on the legal space.
