Many introverts and ambiverts, starting a blog from them sounds and seems fun until when they realise they are putting themselves out there. The internet is big and things could get murky. All you have ever known is your own comfortable little space away from criticisms from strangers. You know what they say all you need lies on the other side of fear.
Fearing being judged? Don’t worry if they will like you, or not, make fun of you and make you doubt yourself whether you are good enough. If you believe in yourself and what you have to offer, then that’s all you need. Truth is not matter what you do, people will always have something to say either positive or negative so you might as well do the heck you want.
No, it’s not too late for you to start neither will there be a perfect time for you to start. The world is your canvas its waiting for you to paint it with your own unique mark, yes there will be uncertainties but that’s life right? You might actually be the next big thing, matter of fact you are the next big thing (wink).
Imagine what you are holding back, thinking it’s insignificant, could be the key someone else has been looking for. So let this be your little thing that will bring positive change in this world of ours. Please change that mindset and the month of May being Mental Health Awareness Month is a good time to start.
Even though you feel totally clueless on what to post in your blog. Your passions and likes should be a good place to start. Make a list and then start ruling out things that don’t speak to you. Only leave what speaks to you deeply and from there just start, the rest will follow. Keep practicing until you become good not perfect. Look up to your favourite bloggers and learn a thing or two to help you.
What other things stop you from starting your own blog? I would love to hear what you guys have to say.
